I'm a Cognitive Behavioural Hypnotherapist based in London, offering sessions online to clients across the UK and around the world. I trained with the UK College of Hypnosis & Hypnotherapy and continue to develop my knowledge through ongoing professional training and continuing professional development.
From the beginning of my training, I have been committed to an evidence based approach to therapy. There are many different approaches to hypnotherapy, but I chose Cognitive Behavioural Hypnotherapy because it combines the proven principles of Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) with clinical hypnosis. Rather than relying on techniques that lack scientific support, I use research informed methods tailored to each individual, helping clients create meaningful, lasting change.
Before becoming a therapist, I worked across a variety of industries including music, entertainment, tourism and the third sector. Although my career has been varied, one thing has always remained the same: a genuine interest in people. Working with individuals from many different backgrounds taught me the importance of listening without judgement, building trust and understanding that every person's experience is unique.
My interest in hypnotherapy began after experiencing it for myself. Like many people, I initially had misconceptions about hypnosis and assumed it was similar to stage hypnosis. However, after researching the evidence and experiencing clinical hypnosis firsthand, I realised it was something entirely different. That experience sparked a fascination with the psychology of lasting change and inspired me to retrain as a therapist.
